I am an artist focused on well thought out creative expressions about real life issues on this platform as well as bridging old school Hiphop / new school rap & R&B music. Shane Wicked vision is to brand Shared Vision Entertainment as an institution of creatives that's willing to build and create real working relationships with other driven creative professionals struggling to break in the music entertainment industry today. #shanewicked_mryaka100 music style is a collective mix of everything he loves listening to an artist inspired by others although he has an original tone and sound. He remembers growing up in the 80's & 90's watching and listening to the elders play classic records on their record player and vibe, and dance while socializing into the late hours as he now understands how it offered them an escape from the harsh realities of life. In Many black households' parents and grandparents were music lovers and exposed their children or loved ones too music that offered insight into life from the shared visions, created by artist in that era. At this time and place in life, creating music has grown him into a better recording artist and flat-out good human-being with some rough edges. Music is life. He's lived enough life that he can create songs from past and present experiences, creating shared vision of his lifestyle. What's crazy is that he has no team, minimum to none support from friends or family and no set budget but invest in passion in search of being heard. He appreciates you paying attention to an artist like himself and spreading the word. He records, mixes and masters his music all learning from trial-and-error. He also directs, shoots and edits most of #sharedvisionent videos as well as the creative force around artwork and website development, marketing, promo etc. He has the potential to become successful in the music business if he can continue to grow an active YAKA-Fam100 following. Our goal is to someday create music in other genres and bring back vibes that makes you move, think, laugh, cry because music is food for the soul. The scary part is that he still hasn't plugged into to the potential he has of being a great song writer.      The name Shane Wicked (Same, Honest/Humble, As NI66A, Everyday But Wicked) has been his only artist's name until 2008 personality MR.YAKA100 AKA YAKA100 arrived. Do to the fact that I'm solid and keep it 100. I'm humble, a people person, mentor, hustler, ambitious, kind-hearted, giving, personable, charismatic, funny but straight forward and aggressive by nature. Considered to be wise before my time, a dedicated family man, father, recording artist, I'm a product of strong black women and men. I remember growing up not fully understanding that we were considered poor because grandmother and grandfather kept the family stable and strong but some of us strayed to the hustle of 615 TN. He's an OG that understands that social media and radio platforms shine light on the violence, drug use, drug selling, misogynist lifestyle of rappers and it's not a full representation of our culture.  A fan of most music genres and that's why my sound is original, creative, direct, and diverse.   

 

 In 2005, Births Shared Vision Ent. in hopes to bring artists together but artists in 615, don't like to see one another succeed, but hopefully things will change. Years of being a Mentor in Hip Hop it has taught me lessons that music is made not for fame or money; It's in the soul that artists before placed there by shining the light on our struggle and lifestyle that I feel in love with, hip hop. I bet most artists today, can't tell you anything about the Founders of Hip Hop and the way it has impacted the world. I was inspired by artist LL Cool J, Ice Cube, Big Daddy Kane, Tupac, Eight Ball & MJG, Scarface, Ja Rule, Snoop, Mac 10, UGK, BIG, Etc. The aggressive storytelling & realness in their verses as well as sultriness in softer songs made these artists my favorite. He wants young men and young women to listen to the substance in the songs he creates and take in the positive notes, that's placed in his verses. He does understand that Shared Vision Ent. sound isn't for everyone and that is OK. You can see and hear that what he represents and creates, is a vibe!!
